Your post, don't jump on the corpse, is very timely in that it brings up the idea of how our personal prejudices can make us act very badly towards other people. How our bad human nature sabotage our capacity for goodness. It is also about how hatred brings out the worst in us. And endangers us as well as well all those around us. It's sort of a bad side effect of polarization. So it ought to be discussed instead of being thought of as basically being necessary evil or the collateral damage of so called righteous revenge when technically how logically how could any revenge be righteous. The two are separate elements that don't go well together like fire and gasoline. Polarization resulting in continuous violence is a good proof of this. When what started out as good travels over to the dark side.
