Talking or writing about how one feels is important so one isn't succumbing to the temptations of popularity. To go down or up the road obscure unpopularity is discouraged unless by pure dint of persistence one might achieve limited acceptability. One great thing about oceans is that they are huge and there are many boats out on the water on various journeys. Apart from the severity of nature in adverse sea state or weather, boats are not generally harassed over what their destinations are or how they want to be or they want to finally arrive. It is only where there are large concentrations of people and politics does all the trouble start. Politics torments the soul by pretending to be compassionate yet masking a ruthless grab for personal prosperity, popularity and harsh group think influencing. Why is there the need for any influence if people are allowed to think for themselves and make their own decisions without being constantly criticized. So the Faulkner quote carries a lot of validity as a secular inspiration to compassion. As does the Albert Camus thanking from the opposite side of the spectrum. True freedom is under attack by extremists who torture kind souls demanding that they cave into extremity. But the wretched otherness of the constantly persecuted the price of the extremists pay to maintain the tyranny the pretend is the only freedom that exists. Their sin of oppression by cancelling, harassment and erasure is always hiding in plain sight. So to set aside fear and write against injustice and premeditated wrongness is the way out of chaos if persistently and consistently pursued. Though unpopular. Thanks for this inspiring mini podcast.

Thanks for reading my comment. And It wouldn't have occurred to me if I hadn't heard your post and it's really important to be thinking of all this not just closing it all out of mind because it seems futile. And your podcast gets everyone thinking who considers it. Maybe think of what they could do. Looking forward to reading or hearing other posts you put together.
